Exclusive: Robert Jon & The Wreck premiere 'Tired of Drinking Alone' video

Currently on our A-list with their gem of a tune ‘Oh Miss Carolina’, Robert Jon & The Wreck have premiered their ‘Tired of Drinking Alone’ video exclusively on Planet Rock.
‘Tired of Drinking Alone’ is the second taster of Robert Jon & The Wreck’s new album ‘Last Light On The Highway’, released on Friday 8th May, and the accompanying video was recorded during lockdown recently.
As well as featuring all five members of Robert Jon & The Wreck, the Orange County country rockers drafted in some of their mates to guest appear in the video, including Bad Touch vocalist Stevie Westwood, Ajay Popoff of the band Lit, Joe Bonamassa’s backing singer Juanita Tippins, and model Nikki Leigh.
Robert Jon & The Wreck keyboardist Steve Maggiora, who also directed the video, says: “I was getting a little emotional watching it all back just seeing how many people took time out of their day to help us out. It means a lot to me personally.”

As well as releasing the video, Robert Jon & The Wreck are also promoting a fundraiser for Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, a charity that helps musicians in need during the COVID-19 crisis.
Eponymous singer Robert Jon explains: “We’ve been working with Sweet Relief for years. Bill Bennett (President, Sweet Relief Musicians Fund) gave us some of our first big breaks at the House of Blues and we try to do whatever we can for them, especially now. Thousands of professional musicians have been affected, please donate if you can.”
